Great LED light requires great diodes. LED Bulb’s diodes are engineered by an expert manufacturer in Taiwan. The same LED technology is also used by Samsung and Philips.
To achieve perfect white light, LED Bulb is made with 15 different diodes dedicated just to creating perfect shades of natural white light.
Those 15 precision engineered diodes give LED Bulb a maximum light temperature that ranges from 2,580 Kelvin to 7,050 Kelvin.
They’re joined by another row of diodes that power LED Bulb’s 16 million shades of colour.

Value Quality PerformanceDaveon 2/07/2017The bulbs work well and seem to be a good build quality. The flexibility of setting any colour you feel like is surprisingly useful.
I bought 3 of these bulbs as a foray into z-wave, paired up with the Fibaro Home Centre 2.
Initially, there was no template in the HC2 and so setting colours required poking values via LUA. I had many a discussion with Aeotec support and they are brilliant actually, very responsive.
Mid May 2017, Fibaro added the bulb template to the HC2 via a beta firmware, followed by a released firmware about 2 weeks later, and since then control of the bulb is a breeze.
There are some things to be aware of though:
I so far have not found a way to get the white light to vary between warm/natural/cool via the HC2 controls - quite likely a limitation of the template. You may have better luck with a different controller.
When the white channel (remember, this is an RGBW bulb, not RGB) is set greater than 0, then RGB is effectively turned off and the bulb is white.
White is much brighter (about double) than having RGB all set to 255 - so very bright colours are not a reality. In all honesty, the RGB brightness is good enough since the intention is for mood rather than reading.
