DVR kits have proven to be extremely popular and for good reason: they not only offer exceptional value for the security dollar, but also offer a simple turn-key solution for the first time user. The main feature is the Smart Phone support and the iPhone app you can download from iTunes to view live or recorded footage. One way a DVR could be made better is by combining it with a monitor - exactly what this model does and gives you everything you need to get a surveillance system up and running. Two cameras are included and the HDD in the DVR has a 320GB capacity. Recording can be started manually, by programming, by a triggered alarm condition, or upon motion detection. Monitoring may be done real-time the monitor included or on a LAN network, via the internet, or smart phone by several users at once and the DVR can be controlled either by mouse or the IR remote control.
