The main feature is the Smart Phone support and the iPhone app you can download from iTunes to view live or recorded footage. One way a DVR could be made better is by combining it with a monitor - exactly what this model does and gives you everything you need to get a surveillance system up and running. Two cameras are included and the HDD in the DVR has a 320GB capacity. Recording can be started manually, by programming, by a triggered alarm condition, or upon motion detection. Monitoring may be done real-time the monitor included or on a LAN network, via the internet, or smart phone by several users at once and the DVR can be controlled either by mouse or the IR remote control.
