It brings into your home everything that's been missing from home automation.

It centralises all of those home luxuries.

It automates them.

Schedules them.

And then it sets them free, giving you control from inside and outside the home.

Complete Z-Wave Home Automation

z-wave products

You can improve the style and comfort of your home with any number of Z~Series products, but there remains the need to not only control them, but to intelligently automate them, have them work for you.

That's where the Z~Series Home Server comes in. It sits right at the heart of your Z~Series home, capable of integrating with all the available Z~Series products to bring that added something to your home. And once integrated it affords you things unaccessible in the average home - from scheduling to intelligent actions right through to precise control, it's capable of them all.

Perhaps you want to set the perfect scene - so create it in the dashboard and control it from any computer, phone or touchscreen, then with the push of an 'Entertainment' or 'Relaxation' button everything becomes precisely as you like it. Or perhaps you want the server to manage your morning routine. Lights fade in as you wake up and music slowly hums in the background; by the time you reach your coffee machine it's already warmed and waiting to serve you the perfect espresso.

Future Proof

Z~Series is a growing offering - in 2010 it doubled in size. And it'll continue to. That's why the Z~Series Home Server has been designed to be future-proof. Easily upgraded for compatability with the latest smartphones and versions of Mac and Windows, it's also fully compatible with soon to be released Z~Series products, and ones we haven't even dreamt up yet.

Secure Internet & Phone Gateway

Home away from home finally has meaning with the home control server. Access your home's dashboard to control and view all your appliances, lights, cameras... anything that you've set it up to control. And you can do it securely from any Internet connected computer or mobile phone including the iPhone web app, Windows Mobile, Android or a Blackberry.

Free iPhone App

While the server has it's own inbuilt iPhone interface there's also an iPhone app available that can interface with the server. After interfacing with your server you'll be able to control your Z-Wave devices and schedules from your iPhone and iPod Touch, as well view any security cameras that the server can see. The free and advanced versions of the Z-Wave iPhone app are available from the iTunes store.

Energy Saving

Given that it can be set up to control every piece of electronic equipment in your home, it should come as no surprise that the Z~Series server can also be used to save money. And all for only approximately $2 a month in energy use. To find out more, read the energy saving Z~Series solution.

Security

Able to control and make accessible a number of security features, including a number of security cameras, the home security server can be expanded to control and monitor everything from your locks to your windows. It's also able to SMS and e-mail you should something happen in your house, and keep an archive of your security camera's footage through a US$29 per year security service offered by the manufacturers.

Quick, Easy Setup

It's our mission for Z~Series to be simplicity personified, and the home control server keeps that in mind.

For most homes with an Internet connection, the initial set up process is as simple plugging the server into a power point, opening a web browser, and pointing it towards the provided set up address.

Dedicated Support & Assistance

While Z~Series has been designed to be easy to set up that doesn't that you won't have questions. And when it comes to the Z-Wave server those questions, no matter how basic or technical, are answered by a dedicated team - and it's the same team who designed the Vera software, so you'll be in great hands. Support includes e-mail, a detailed online manual and forum support meaning an answer is never more than a few clicks away. As a bonus, the Vera forums also provide a great source for understanding how other users are using their system and went about setting it up.
