Orders ship from SmartHome.com.au on business days. Once your order has shipped delivery will generally take 2 to 6 business days. These times are estimated and can vary, and they only cover the metropolitan areas of Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.
If you're after super-fast it's possible to organise priority / overnight shipping for most locations in Australia. If you're in need of same day shipping please contact us to see what can be arranged.
At times we are getting a rush on certain products, particularly Z-Wave products for large projects, which can depelet stock of certain items. If this happens replenishment can take up 8 weeks as products are manufactured to order in China. Of course you will be notifed when there is any delay.
Shipping To A PO Box
The option to ship to a PO Box is available to all non-priority orders.
Whenever we place orders online we like to know exactly where they are, that's why all orders placed on SmartHome.com.au can be traced no matter where they are. Once an order leaves our despatch you'll be e-mailed with your individual tracking numbers, information on the delivery service used, and how you can trace your individual order from our door to yours.
For security reasons all goods are shipped with the requirement that they be signed for upon receiving them. If you're not home or at work when they're delivered, don't worry; our couriers will leave a note to state that they've been and leave you with details so you can arrange a more suitable arrangement.
Product Returns & Refunds
Changed your mind? That's fine. We will happily accept returns of unused and unopened products providing that we receive your return request within 5 days of the purchase date and that goods are returned within 7 days of the purchase date. Please note that we do not refund the original postage fees, the fees for returning a product to us, and that any free item or gift that was included with the purchase of the product must also be returned. To return a product, please follow the simple steps below:
1. Contact us via phone to let us know you would like to arrange a product return. We'll advise the best address for you to send the products to, along with a return authority number.
2. Pack and seal the item/s in their original shipping package and post them back to us.
3. Provided that we receive the products in their original UNUSED and UNOPENED condition, we will arrange for the original purchase price (not including original postage fees) to be refunded.
4. Please allow up to 14 business days for an approved refund to be processed.
Please note that we can not accept any returns on software, including mobile phone applications, and SIM cards from our security systems.
Damaged or Faulty Products
Our dispatch team takes care to ensure that your items are packed carefully so they won't damage during transit. If, for whatever reason, they arrive damaged or faulty, we ask that you let us know within 5 days of receiving them and we'll arrange for replacement goods to be sent out to you.
Prior to your order being processed, which usually takes no more than 12 hours, you can cancel any order or part there of prior to shipping without any penalties or fees. If you do choose to cancel an order you've just placed, we recommend contacting us via phone as soon as possible.
All goods sold by SmartHome.com.au are subject to the manufacturer's warranty and carry a 1 year manufacturer's warranty unless otherwise stated.
