Learn moreThe difference between average homes and perfect homes comes down to the finishing touches. And there isn't a greater finishing touch than the ambiance created by perfect lighting.
With the Z~Series in-wall lighting controllers you can attain just that: perfect lighting. And you can use them with new and existing lights in your home, meaning that perfect ambiance is at hand.
So many home control solutions want to change what your home looks and feels like to suit their technology.
The Z~Series Bespoke range, instead, lets you perfect your home.
Crafted so that your home can feel precisely as you want it, every in-wall light controller is designed with functionality and the way you live your life in mind. Their small size will afford you the control, intelligence and automation you need without ever asking you to change the design of your home to suit them.
Befitting any home from any era, if you have a modern, cutting edge home, they'll suit your style. If tradition is more your thing, they'll be equally as perfect.
With the flick of a switch, or the press of a button, the perfect scene is set. Lights dim and others turn off. All in unison. Nothing is too bright, nothing too dim. Your lights have set the perfect mood.
And they're your existing lights. Because with each Z~Series in-wall light controller no new cabling has to be installed. Instead each controller can installed right behind your existing switch, or behind the light fitting itself. And then they communicate with each other, wirelessly.
Once installed you'll be able to intelligently automate your lights, or create specific lighting scenes. You'll also be able to manually control them from anywhere in the world via a computer or a mobile phone, or away without using a switch via a remote control. And you'll be able to do this without ever losing the manual control provided by your original wall switch.
Each in-wall light controller allows you to automate, schedule and control a light or series of lights in your house or apartment. The concept is simple, but everyone uses them differently.
Some people with Z~Series homes use them to save money and energy; ensuring that lights aren't left on at night or when nobody is home. Others use them for convenience, automatically turning on lights to a dim level should they get up in the night. And some use them to set perfect scenes in specific areas of their home, such as their home theatre, ensuring their lights are always as they like, when they like.
It's often asked of us precisely how many in-wall lighting controllers will be needed. The answer comes down to two factors: how many individual light switches you want to automate and how much power they use.
Each in-wall light controller is capable of controlling 500 watts or 3 amps of lights. Take a look at your average light bulb and you'll see that's quite a few lights. What it then depends on is how many lights are wired into your switch. A lot of switches will support multiple lights, and the Z~Series in-wall modules will too.
If you're unsure as to how many in-wall light controllers you'll need please don't hesitate to contact us.
As a part of Z~Series' automation solution, the in-wall light controller is powered by Z-Wave. Using Z-Wave's wireless communication, your Z~Series home will be able to communicate, automate and schedule the in-wall light controller. It'll also give you the ability to access it from anywhere in the world, whether it's within your own home using a remote control or from an airport lounge on your mobile phone or laptop.
