Just plug the Mini Timer into any standard power point and you can control four light or appliance modules from your bedside. Each one can be scheduled to turn on or off up to twice a day, at the time you choose. You can set the timers to operate every day, but can also set a one–time temporary change to accommodate an unscheduled event.
The Mini Timer sends X10 home control commands over your home's existing electrical wiring to the Lamp and Appliance Receiver modules included within this kit, or to other X10 receivers modules (available seperately).
The included LM12 plug-in lamp module lets you switch and dim any incandescent lamp up to 300W.
The included AM12 plug-in appliance module lets you switch any appliance up to 10 Amps.
The Mini Timer Kit features On/Off, Dim/Bright, All Lights On/All Units Off manual control buttons. It also has a handy sleep feature - simply turn on a device from the keypad and then press the sleep button - 15 minutes later the timer will automatically turn the device off. Press the Sleep button twice and the timer will turn the device off in 30 minutes, etc. Great for an electric blanket! If you turn a device off then press the Sleep button then the device will turn back on again in 15 minutes.
A backup battery (9 volt) saves programming and time in the event of a power failure.
