8-in-1 LCD Touchscreen Remote with X10

The EasyTouch35 is designed to control up to 8 devices (TV, VCR, CD, SAT, PayTV, DVD, AUDIO and X10 Home Automation). To allow direct control of all these devices in a convenient way, the EasyTouch35 includes a touch screen. The touch screen can display only the functions you need in a particular mode.

Combined with a high storage capacity, the EasyTouch35 has a number of unique features, such as:

- "Macro" option: a total number of 20 key strokes can be stored under each of the 9 available Macro keys
- Code learning, up to 40 keys per each mode
- Channel scan/search function
- Video plus / Show-view key
- All power off feature: to switch off your A/V equipment in 2 button presses
- TV Volume/ Mute, will work regardless of what mode you're in
- Channel toggle key
- Customisation of the touch screen using a predefined list of symbols, according to your specific needs
- RF transmission to control your A/V equipment through walls and ceilings (in combination with the PowerMid Receiver)
- X10 key for controlling your homes lights, appliances, moods and sequences

The Touch screen Display:

The Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) acts as a "Virtual Keypad" comprising a 15 position segmented key area. Pressing the "SCREEN" key lets you toggle between two available screens of keys for the mode you are in, providing a clear screen whilst hiding uncommon functions.

The display is normally blank when the remote is not in use to conserve power. Pressing the setup key, any mode key, the macro key or anywhere on the touchscreen will turn the display panel on.

Code Learning:

Although the EasyTouch35 is pre-programmed with the IR codes of thousands of different A/V devices, should your device not be listed in the code book then it's possible to learn the IR commands into the remote. Up to 40 commands per mode can be entered, using your original remote.

X10 Home Control:

The EasyTouch35 remote allows you to control your X10 home control lights and appliances. In addition to transmitting IR signals to control your TV, VCR, CD, SAT, CBL, Audio and DVD, your remote is equipped with an RF transmitter for sending X10 signals. This will let you control your X10 home control lights and devices from anywhere in your home.

Here are some examples of what you can do with your EasyTouch35 remote using home automation mode:

- Switch on/off, dim lights while you watch TV
- Switch on the lights at night to frighten potential intruders if you hear something suspicious
- Switch on your electric blanket before the DVD ends so that you get into a warm cozy bed
