The LED's next to each button on the keypad indicate the status of the corresponding device. Each button on the TC284 wall switch can be configured to control any of the 256 X10 home control addresses.

The keypad has a washable membrane providing a soft and stylish button press. A label (provided or custom) can be inserted behind the keys to enable the user to easily identify each button with text or icons.
Note that although the TC284 is a very powerful controller, it is also quite complicated to program, requiring the AT004 programmer for many options. Installation is recommended by someone experienced with this unit, or you may request that the unit be pre-programmed prior to delivery, which will incur a programming charge. For a simpler solution consider the TK284 transmitter
