X10 Appliance Module - 10 Pack

The AM12XP is a 10 pack of AM12 X10 appliance modules.

Each of then 10 appliance module receives X10 signals sent on the power lines by your X10 home automation transmitters and interfaces. With the appliance module, you can add remote control to any appliance or light in your home within seconds. Here are just a few of the devices can be automated using each appliance module:

• Plug-in heaters
• Fountains
• Pool pumps
• Heated towel rails
• Plug-in fluorescent lights
• Coffee makers
• Electric blankets
• Plug-in fans

How The AM12 Works

Plug the appliance module into any standard power outlet and then plug the appliance you want to control into the module. Set the appliance module to the desired X10 address via the two dials on the front of the module, and then you're done.

Once you've set up an AM12 you'll be able to turn your electric devices on and off, no matter where you are in the house. You'll also be able to control your devices via X10 remote controls, or via home automation software for PC or Mac OS X.

Each AM12 controls any 240V appliance up to 10A resistive load, 1A inductive load.
