Q: The TV foxtel box I have is down a floor in another room. Is it powerful enough to work from this range ?

A: Hi Dean, It should certainly work from downstairs to a room above without issue. I hope this helps :)

Q: Hi,
Its my understanding that the 2 units can be up to 40-100 meters apart depending on obstacles. I would like to know how far the receiver can be away from the device (tv,dvd).

A: Hi James, That is an excellent question! Typically in the same room as you would use a normal remote will be fine (say 4 - 5m) - however this can change depending on other environmental factors in your home. I hope this helps :)

Q: Hi, Does this work with the Foxtel IQ3 ? The IQ3 seems to be more difficult to use with an IR sender than the previous.

A: Yes, this product will work with IQ3 - however, you will need an IQ2 remote control (ebay have them cheap enough) as the IQ3 only includes a Bluetooth remote. I hope this helps.

Q: Hi,
Can you please advise how many devices I can control from this unit? Currently I have 5 devices which I am looking to extend remote control range from another room. Also please advise if it works with Foxtel IQ2?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Muhammad Farhan

A: Hi Muhammad,

You can control an unlimited number of remote controllable devices, provided they are within view of the IR blaster built into the Receiver. Yes, this product works with IQ2. I hope this helps.
