Turn any wall switch into an INSTEON dimmable switch.
Adding dimmable remote control to wired lights usually means replacing switches - not any more. With INSTEON's new dual-band Micro Dimmer Module, you can keep your antique, toggle or decorative wall switches while adding the power of INSTEON control.
Must be installed by a licensed electrician.
How it works
This compact module installs behind your existing switch, giving it full INSTEON automation while retaining local control at the switch.
Connect the sense wires to any style wall switch to match any type of designer switch theme (antique, push-button, metal, etc.).
Dimmable
Featuring 32 brightness levels (256 levels via the free INSTEON for Hub app), you can easily set the perfect lighting mood for any occasion.
Ramp-rate
Add a touch-of-class by adjusting the ramp-rate (how quickly your lamp turns on or off) between 0.1 to 5 seconds (0.1 seconds to 8 minutes with app).
200W Rating
Micro Dimmer Module supports connecting multiple lighting fixtures that can then all be controlled by the same wall switch – up to a total of 200W.
Existing switches
Sense wires allow for control via a connected, hard-wired switch. Compatible with standard latching, single momentary and dual momentary switches.
Compact size
Measuring a tiny 46.6mm square and 17.5mm deep, it can easily be installed above a light fixture in a single-gang electrical box or behind an existing light switch.
Dual-Mesh
INSTEON’s unique dual-mesh technology uses both existing power-lines and wireless radio frequency signals to communicate for best-in-class reliability.
