How it works
Trigger INSTEON enabled lights, appliances or scenes when motion is detected.
After a selectable time of no motion, you can have the motion sensor turn those same lights (or appliances) off.
Motion sensitivity
Adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor to suit any location. You will be able to fine-tune the motion detection area for exact and precise operation.
Photocell light sensor
Adjustable photocell sensor allows you to set a light-threshold so INSTEON enabled lights will not be activated during the day, even when motion is detected.
Optional dawn/dusk mode
Save energy by ensuring lights are off at dawn and increase security by turning your porch lights on at dusk with Motion Sensor's dusk/dawn feature.
Adjustable auto-off
Automatically turn paired INSTEON modules off after motion stops (adjustable anywhere between 30 seconds and 2 hours). Never accidently leave a light on again.
Mounting bracket
The INSTEON Motion Sensor includes an easy to install, adjustable pivot mounting bracket for precise placement and fine-tuning.
Paintable
Motion Sensor’s specially coated surface can be painted to blend in with your home décor. Give your motion sensor installation that professional finished look.
Easy setup
Setup is simple. True plug-and-play simplicity means you can add motion control to INSTEON enabled lights, appliances or scenes in a matter of minutes.
RF Wireless
The INSTEON Motion Sensor has an amazing wireless range. The strong RF wireless signal even works through walls, floors and ceilings.
Battery indicator
INSTEON Motion Sensor’s status LED will double-flash after motion is detected (even if LED is disabled), to let you know it’s time to change the 9V battery.
