Love Where You Live

The last couple of years has seen a big shift in the way we live. Connectivity has become further seamless and the ability to work remotely from home (or the local cafe) means we are not tied down to living in a certain area or having to deal with the dreaded work commute. This has opened up a world of possibilities, and many people have taken this opportunity to perhaps rethink their way of living and ask themselves what is truly important to them. Some have taken the plunge on that sea or tree change, and others have been inspired to stay put and invest in their little slice of heaven. Money that was once spent on big overseas trips, is now being used to create an oasis of luxury in our own backyards.

With so many new home renovation shows, impressive designer Instagram accounts and Pinterest boards galore, there’s an abundance of inspiration out there (it can also be quite overwhelming!)

Knowing where to start can be difficult. We often get calls from people who are either building a new house and want to kit it out with the latest gadgets, or wanting to improve their existing homes. They all make similar statements : I want to make my house “smart”, but I don’t know where to start?! The beauty of smart products is that they can be considered during a new house design and build, or they can just as easily be retrofit into an existing structure.

When beginning to design your smart home, think about what’s important to you – Smart lighting? Convenience? Creative control? With thousands of smart devices and products out there, what you can achieve with a smart home is limited only by the devices you select and your imagination. Don’t be put off by the idea that setting up a smart home is too expensive – sure, there are some super high-end products on the market with price tags that’ll make your eyes water, but we offer a range of solutions that suit every budget.

If you would like to be certain of your direction before taking the leap, get in contact with us, we’d love to help 🙂
