    A Sorry, only the Pro version accepts the wired reed switch.
  2. Hi, I have an iSmartGate garage door opener for my sectional garage door, which works really well. Only bugbear is the wireless tilt sensor which works well but the batteries only seem to last a few months, and are very fiddly to change. Is there an updated version available or some other some other solution? The info on this page says batteries last 1.5 years which is way different to my experien... Read more

    A It may be worth trying to move the main iSmartGate unit closer to the sensor - this will hopefully increase battery life. If you have the iSmartGate Pro - you can attach a wired reed switch - this will do away with the Tilt sensor and batteries.
