Flush mount

How does charging work?
SimpliDock's faceplate has an integrated male-to-female "passthrough" power connector, which means charging functions exactly the same as plugging into the iPad directly.
Can I also mount it portrait (vertical)?
Absolutely! We recommend keeping the charging connector at the bottom of the dock when installed vertically to allow for the safest and easiest iPad docking and removal.
What keeps the iPad in the dock?
This is one of the unique aspects of this patented iPad docking solution! The SimpliDock includes an array of strong neodymium magnets in strategic locations embedded inside the dock frame that discretely hold the iPad securely inside the dock. When you need to remove the iPad, a firm press is enough to overpower the magnets and eject one side just enough to unplug and remove.
Can it be mounted in a ceiling or vehicle?
SimpliDock is designed for use in stationary, vertical walls. It may also be mounted on an incline from 0º to 90º in desktop/podium applications. SimpliDock should never be used in a moving vehicle, boat, airplane, etc. The inertial forces could result in the iPad unintentionally ejecting from the dock.
What about mic/speakers?
SimpliDock has an integrated acoustic waveguide to direct the iPad sound output toward the front of the dock/wall surface. This, combined with a discreet airgap around the speakers (instead of unsightly holes or grilles) allows the iPad dock to maintain crisp, clear sound output while maintaining a beautiful, minimalist aesthetic.

SimpliDock is proudly made in the USA from globally sourced components by a small, highly trained team. Each SimpliDock is thoroughly tested with a genuine iPad to ensure proper fit and function before hand packaging every unit.
SimpliDock includes a 12-month manufacturer's warranty - we extend this warranty by a further 12 months free (exclusive to SmartHome) - for a total 2 year local replacement warranty.
