    Overall this is an excellent security system. The Android App needs some work though – it’s too hard to swipe between pages. Once fixed – 5 stars all round.

    The KP-700 does support door strike control - however we have not had feedback on this application from customers.  My strong feeling is you can use the keypad to activate the door strike, but not the app.

    A Yes, there should be no issue moving the system to your new home as it is all wireless.

    A The H4 is the most recent system (the AW1 is an older model - not available in Australia) - the H4 certainly does have a built-in siren.

    A The sensors use standard AA or AAA batteries - so you can simply replace them when required, or you can purchase standard rechargeable batteries for use with the sensors. I hope this helps.

    A We are working on making just the H4 panel available as an upgrade to G5W - we hope to have these available by the end of next month.

    A SmartHome is based in Australia. The Chuango range is made in China - however we offer local warranty (3 years) and support. The main panel requires power (plug-pack include) and features battery backup. The batteries in the console are rechargeable and do not require replacement. The batteries in the security sensors generally last 4 - 5 years (all batteries are included).

    A Hi Anthony, I do not believe any announcement for switching off the 3G network has been made? However, if and when it is switched off - you would need to upgrade the security panel only - if the current panel is less than 3 years old, the upgrade will be free. If it is more than 3 years, the upgrade is around $289. I hope this helps.
