Wireless door/window sensors are used to detect when a door or window is opened. These are called Reed switches. They consist of the Reed switch sensor and a small magnet. The Reed switch is placed on either the frame of the door/window and the magnet on the opening part of the door/window. When they are separated the sensor sends a signal to the alarm control panel, if the alarm system is armed it will be triggered. Designed to work perfectly with the Chuango H4 Alarm System.

The Chuango Door / Window sensor can be installed on doors and windows or any other objects that open and close. The sensor transmits a signal to the H4 Security Console when the magnet mounted near the sensor is moved away (door or window is opened).

Door/window sensors are a great way to monitor and protect perimeter entry points for your premises. This also means you can set your alarm at night and still move freely without setting the alarm off.
Installation is simple.
Mount the Chuango Wireless Door / Window Sensor onto any door or window you would like to monitor.
Pair the Door / Window Sensor to the H4 Security Console and you’re done – no wiring required.

All configurations are stored in "non-volatile" memory, which means the setting are saved even when power is lost.

We have a large home with a lot of windows, so went with the biggest starter kit (and still had to order extras!) My husband was able to install everything pretty easily. A very good system so far.
