    A I do not believe this device can connect to Alexa directly - the SmartThings Hub is required.

    A This product needs a SmartThings hub - it will not intigrate with Fibaro I am sorry to say (such is the nature of Zigbee devices, unlike Z-Wave, the Zigbee standard has a lot of variations).

    A This will depend on the number of obstacles in the way. Generally if you have WiFi cover in the location, you should be fine. The SmartThings modules can also repeat the signal - so with a good spread of modules, you can get excellent coverage.
