I have 4 split system Fujitsu A/C units (2.5 or 3kW) on two circuits and one Rinnai split system A/C (7kW) on a dedicated circuit. Each unit has an individual external/exposed on/off switch primarily intended for safe maintenance. A Yes, this is certainly possible. This Heavy Duty Smart Switch and a Z-Wave hub (i.e. Aeotec Smart Hub) will do the job nicely and allow for remote on/off control as well as scheduling.

A No, this device cannot be wired with a regular switch.

Hi, I'll be asking my electrician to install this on a dedicated 15amp single phase circuit for the car charger. I want a 15A GPO to to go through the smart switch, rather than wire the car charger in directly. Any issues with this? Do I just get the sparky to wire L1 only seeing as it will be a single phase circuit? Thanks,

Yes, you are correct. Keep in mind that the GPO switch will need to remain in the on position - you will have on / off control via smart control. I hope this helps.

Hi I'm interested in how this product works when not connected to the Z-Wave (i.e. if the Z-Wave hasn't been connected or the Z-Wave disconnects for some reason). A This device can also be triggered by a button under the front cover (so you can manually turn on/off) - regardless of the device being connected to a Z-Wave controller.

A We are in Australia - you can purchase this here! Yes, you will need an electrician to install this device. It will also need a Z-Wave Gateway Controller (hub). I hope this helps.
