Hi, I'll be asking my electrician to install this on a dedicated 15amp single phase circuit for the car charger. I want a 15A GPO to to go through the smart switch, rather than wire the car charger in directly. Any issues with this? Yes, you are correct. Keep in mind that the GPO switch will need to remain in the on position - you will have on / off control via smart control. I hope this helps.
