Easily connect Shelly Plus Add-on to your favourite Shelly Plus, Gen3 or Gen4 Relay module.
Connect low-voltage power to your Shelly Plus Relay and connect your sensors to Add-on.
Monitor, control and create automations in your Shelly compatible hub, app or software.
Open / Close Sensor.
Connect a Shelly 1 Gen3 to your garage door motor for smart control – and connect a reed-switch sensor to Shelly Plus Add-on to monitor the open / close state.
Water Sensor.
By combining Shelly 1PM Gen3 and Add-on with two DS18B20 temperature sensor probes, you can easily measure the precise temperature inside your aquarium, as well as the room temperature. Additionally, you can connect a liquid level sensor to the Add-on, and always be sure that the water level is at its optimal level.
Light sensor.
Together with an LDR (photoresistor), Shelly Plus Add-on can trigger Shelly 2PM Gen3 to open the blinds when the room is too dark and it’s still daytime. Additionally, when luminosity is low, Shelly Plus Add-on can trigger Shelly 1 Gen4 to turn on the lights at just the right time.
Wind sensor.
Outdoor motorised awnings offer pleasant shade for your guests on sunny days. However, a strong, unexpected wind can damage them beyond repair. By combining it with a wind sensor connected to the Shelly Plus AddOn, Shelly 2PM Gen4 can automatically close the outside awning to protect them from the wind. Additionally, Shelly Plus Add-on with a rain sensor can trigger Shelly 2PM Gen3 to open the awning just in time to protect your guests.
Moisture sensor.
Automating your garden irrigation system can save you time and money. Together with a soil moisture sensor, Shelly Plus Add-on can trigger Shelly 1 Gen3 to turn on the irrigation only when necessary, always skipping the rainy days.

2 Wire Magnetic Reed Switch
Reed switches are used to monitor the opening and closing of windows or doors (or essentially anything that opens or closes). There are two parts to a reed switch... one has a magnet inside, the other a reed switch (which is triggered when the magnet comes close and deactivates when the magnet is pulled away). When wired (DIY with 2 low voltage wires) to a smart home binary sensor input device, you can easily monitor and create automations for doors and windows. Can be mounted with double-sided tape or screws.
